THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
The Letter painting is a testament to words not said. It can be difficult to convey true emotion to another person, and that is evidenced by the letter cast in red and yellow, a fiery blend of colors that suggest passionate feelings, yet these feelings never hit the ears of another as evidenced by the ripped paper. The lemons on the table symbolize bitterness and resentment, perhaps at oneself for not being able to communicate their emotions properly, but perhaps toward the other party as well. The bottles in the photo represent restriction and confinement that comes with not being able to speak one's mind.
