THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
The River Ilawka 05 Painting depicts a beautiful river running through an old country path. Trees overhang the river, slumping down over the water and showing themselves in a beautiful reflection beneath them. The water itself is composed of several different colors such as earthy greens, browns and finally a gray color that seems to reflect a cloudy, stormy sky. In the foreground of the painting, there is a small marshy area with tall grass and cattails, providing a multifaceted watery scene that can add peace and tranquility to any room that you choose to hang the painting in.
