THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
Creating a dreamy landscape out of what might otherwise be a typical landscape scene, the Landscape-20 Painting is a beautiful study in nature and color. This scene depicts a patchwork-style piece of land with its rows cast in tan and green. Large bales of hay sit off to the left side of the patchwork rows and are colored in similar hues. With a beautiful sunset casting its light over the other half of the scene, the trees and ground of this painting are done in pastel purples, dark purple, pinks and yellow for an out-of-this-world view.
GETTING TO KNOW GEORGE K.
Born in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia, George K. is an artist who learned his skill in the Tbilisi Art Academy. He was trained and taught there from the year 1986 to the year 1994. Since then, he has spent much of his free time painting and exploring what he learned over time, fine-tuning colorful, vibrant worlds he creates in his artwork. Striving to create a semi-surrealistic approach to the way that he views life, George K. is a master at taking an ordinary scene and turning it into something truly magical.
