THOUGHTS ON PAINTING

Three arches uphold the structurally sound bridge that marks the focal point of the Oshakan Painting. This painting's bridge leads up to a slight point as it goes over the river that runs beneath it and alongside it. The river, crafted with hues such as natural, watery blues and greens, runs through a beautifully depicted green path full of foliage on its way to the bridge. Rocks sit inside of the river and along its edge. Every color and image in this painting has been crafted with short, purposeful brushstrokes that combine to create the bigger picture.
