THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
This unique, acrylic on board figurative piece tells the story of the nonchalant decadence of our age and recent history. The woman in the painting is obviously from a well off class of society, but appears to be bored with a sad gleam in her eye that almost screams of the desperation she feels wherever she is. Her blouse and a long string of perfect pearls drop off her bare shoulder, almost revealing her breast. She is untroubled by this or uninterested in it. She longs for more than her perfect outfit, her flawless makeup, and whatever show of society she is being made to attend.
