THOUGHTS ON PAINTING

Artist Sergey Rybak captures the majestic sunset and the beautiful illuminations of yellows, reds and light blues color on the street buildings at just the perfect moment. Clouds catch the last red and orange rays of the setting sun and the first light of dusk, like a theatre screen. The entire cityscape takes on a surreal saffron hue as the clouds reflect the fading sun's red and orange glow, allowing very little blue light from the sky to reach the ground. Lanterns and street lights slowly begin to turn on, and the lights can also be seen through the windows from the inside of the houses. The beautiful and peaceful close of the day.
