THOUGHTS ON PAINTING

This abstract acrylic on canvas by artist M Singh shows his expression of a distant view of a mountain village. His work is unpredictable and refreshing, as he is exploring the dichotomy between the houses that stand still yet look very alive and the playful colors that surround the central image and almost seem to dance before our eyes. The image is both simple, mundane and mystic. The colors and geometric shapes of the houses seem almost perfectly organized on the artist’s canvas, aligned, stacked, and centered, with colors fading to the sky and bleeding deeply into the frontground. A perfect piece for a modern family space or office, to bring life and a view to the room.
