THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
When it comes to horses, they are often associated with their speed and their strength. Horses can walk and run for hours without needing much of a break, and many people admire their stamina and determination. It seems that the artist hoped to convey his admiration of these traits as well in George's Horse painting. This painting depicts a horse standing against a largely green background with hints of yellow and white within it with his natural chocolate brown coat contrasting beautifully against it. The horse is peering off to the right, leg bent to show that no distraction will stop him from moving.
