THOUGHTS ON PAINTING

The old expression "don't throw stones in a glass house" seems to be conveyed here excellently in the Glass House painting. This painting is full of dark and mysterious colours such as brown, gray and green. The prominent colour is black, and the black takes the shape of the horned creature standing in the forefront with a menacing scowl. This creature holds what appears to be a glass house, which could represent the way that one feels after having been emotionally manipulated or harmed in some way. Surrounding him are lighter white colours and other houses suggesting that it is possible to move on from this hurt.
