THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
The Demon painting captures the likeness of a frightening creature, one with his mouth agape and his eyes full of intrigue and curiosity. As the image features the demon rising from the ground beneath him, this painting seems to suggest the way that our inner demons always seem to come to life, no matter how adamantly we make attempts to bury them. Because the demon is made up of an array of colours such as fiery reds, vivid oranges and cool blues, it suggests that the darker sides of us manifest themselves in a number of ways.
