Cyril was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Self-taught Action Abstract Artist. Cyril currently lives and works in La Jolla, California. Cyril finds much of his inspiration for his art from his time on the ocean, whether it be surfing, kayaking, or snorkeling/swimming. Cyril uses oil, acrylic, and enamel to emulate the intensity of the sea. His work is further influenced by the Abstract Expressionism of Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko, and his paintings find life at the convergence of two techniques. The first being brush strokes and the other literally pouring and dripping.
