I was born in 1960 in Bulgaria.
I graduated a master degree in the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I have participated in several National Exhibitions over the years.
I took part in a joint exhibition of Greece and Bulgaria in Thessaloniki, in 2004.
I participated in the Art Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1999.
My paintings have been sold in Bulgaria, Europe and USA.
I like many trends, genres, styles and techniques in art, such as surrealism, impressionism, realistic and classical art. However, I’ve always liked most of all when the painting displays the pictorial literacy of the artist in whatever the trend, genre or the style is.
That is why in my personal artworks I strive to express the concept, idea, impression, on one hand, and base it on pictorial literacy, on the other hand.
In order to express my ideas I often use elements of surrealism, symbolism, etc all together.
I like realistic, especially impressionistic landscapes, as well. They bring a pure esthetical delight, express impressions and filings, free of complex concept.
